Crew Recharge System for Long Productions

Long runs and 12–14 hour days don’t just drain energy during the work—stress builds in layers. The Crew Recharge System is a schedule-neutral set of tools designed to help cast and crew preserve energy, reduce burnout buildup, and navigate pressure with steadiness—without disrupting the production day.

What it includes

  • Hurry Up & Recharge (30–90 seconds)
Practical micro-techniques used during holds/standby/turnarounds to reduce “energy leaks” from staying braced.

  • Crew Call Grounding (60 seconds)
A brief grounding practice that can sit alongside crew call and the safety meeting.

  • Code 10-3 Emotional Health Break (3–5 minutes)
A supervisor-notified protocol to support safe functioning after acute stress.

  • Weekly Downshift (40 minutes | Zoom | Private | No recording)
A guided grounding practice for end-of-week decompression—especially useful when turnaround is short.

Why this matters

Energy isn’t only needed for the next setup—it’s needed for the last hours of the day, for the drive home (often at night), and for life after wrap. These tools are designed to protect capacity where it’s most commonly lost: in the in-between moments.

What participants are saying

Ryan Wall (Sound Department): “Past attempts to use breathing techniques for reducing on-set anxiety were difficult, requiring a quiet spot and timed attention. I've attend Manfred’s weekly meditations for a few months now and they have provided easy-to-implement tools that allow me to calm my nervous system any time anywhere on set.”

Alanna Holder (Craft Services): “Every session is great, but this one really at the end, to go on a guided meditation journey, I loved it, I drifted into a deep relaxation — semiconscious state after you finished. It was fantastic!”

Krista Salchert (Catering Department): “Thank you for leading this journey to find the peace within, and teaching us techniques to return to this peace throughout our days.”
